oops... where has the website gone?
short answer: It's broken. we're working on fixing it.
long answer: On August 12 2008, a critical security flaw was discovered in the Joomla! CMS, a content management system upon which the Melbourne 08 Website was running. This allowed a flurry of hackers around the word to frig around with any website based in Joomla, and the Melbourne 08 Website was breached. The Joomla! vulnerability has been patched, the Melbourne 08 website will be repaired in due course, and one can read details of the exciting work that was done, here.
