At present there are no other IFMSA active medical schools. We are trying hard to establish one in every university. So your support would be much appreciated.
A limited number of unilateral positions are also available from any medical school in Australia. For these contact the National Exchange Officer (NEO).
Your airfare plus another fee charged by your local exchange team. This fee is used to support incoming students and varies from $500 to $1000. This covers most of your costs including accommodation and the hard work local exchange team volunteers do to ensure you enjoy a good elective. They even help you do the paper work! It is best to apply at least 6 months before your elective term. Your local exchange team will show you how to fill out your details on line and tell you what paperwork may be required by your overseas contacts. Confirmation is usually 2 months before departure.
