National Leadership Development Seminar (NLDS)
The National Leadership Development Seminar (NLDS) is an annual leadership conference held in Australia’s capital and has long been regarded as AMSA’s most prestigious academic event. Delegates are uniquely engaged with medical, social, and political issues. The 2018 seminar brings together 100 competitively selected delegates from across Australia to attend 4 days of practical and inspirational plenaries, workshops and networking sessions led by world class leaders. Previously NLDS has featured presentations from the Chair of the World Medical Association, the Governor-General of Australia and countless other exceptional leaders with a broad range of experience. NLDS provides a unique and intimate forum to discuss issues integral to health, education, politics and leadership, and is designed to shape the medical leaders of tomorrow, both in a professional and personal context.
